laptop side view on wooden table and person holding a mobile phoneCCL is hosting nationwide phone and text banking to mobilize climate action supporters to make emails and calls to President Biden and Congress asking for a price on carbon in the budget reconciliation bill.

We've scheduled a series of virtual phone banks where we will be calling CCL supporters across the country, asking them to contact President Biden and thier members of Congress. Join us to help mobilize the CCL masses. Since all calls will be to CCLers this should be fun and inspiring.

We've also scheduled a series of text banks in which we will  be texting climate action supporters across the country and asking them to email and call their Senators.

(The short link for calling/emailing the Senate is cclusa.org/senate and President Biden is cclusa.org/white-house)

We'd love to have volunteers with phone and text banking experience, but it is not necessary as long as you are comfortable with technology and a quick learner. You'll need a computer and a quiet place where you can make calls. You will not use your personal phone. We will provide a script, training and support. Training will be the first 30 minutes of each session.

Want to call into a specific state? Here is the state schedule for phone banks:
Mondays: Arizona, Montana, Oregon, and New Mexico
Tuesdays: West Virginia, New York, Virginia, and Minnesota

Please RSVP for one or more of the events below so we know how many to expect and please add them to your calendar as well. (You can RSVP on each event page). And use this bulletin to advertise at your chapter meetings. If you know a certain day of the week works for you, please sign up for a shift on that day across multiple weeks.

Upcoming Phone Banks

  • Thank you to all our phone and text bankers!
Upcoming Text Banks
  • There are no phone or text banks for now. You will be notified if we start them back up.

Phone and text banks are most efficient with a big group so sign up now! Please share with other CCLers.

Let's mobilize!

If you have questions on phone banking email Sabrina.Butcher@citizensclimate.org
