It's been an incredibly busy year of climate advocacy. We’ve advanced climate policy opportunities while working hard to defend past climate progress from the deepest cuts.

Now, it's time to look back with "CCL Wrapped" — your very own 2025 summary video! Using data from CCL’s Action Tracker, your personalized video will show and celebrate both our national achievements together and some of your personal stats from your advocacy efforts this year, like the number of times you personally contacted Congress, attended a group meeting or training, and more. (Be sure you're logged in to CCL Community to see the personalized version.)

We hope you enjoy this opportunity to reflect on and celebrate all your efforts in 2025! Thank you for continuing to show up for the climate. We're grateful for all you do!

Featured: Puzzle Pledge It 🧩

On Saturday's monthly meeting, we heard from CCL Development Officer Carolyn Weaver about all the ways to support CCL's year-end fundraiser, including setting up a pledge-a-thon. At the beginning of the month we told you about the 'Skiing for Climate Action' team, and today we're featuring another fun pledge-a-thon: puzzles.

That's right — CCL Vice President of Marketing and Communications Flannery Winchester turned her favorite hobby into the ultimate cozy pledge-a-thon. Flannery is aiming to finish at least eight 500-piece puzzles this month, and supporters can pledge an amount for every piece she places. So far, she's completed a total of 1,497 pieces!

"I've always enjoyed puzzles, and of course, I'm deeply inspired by CCL's advocacy work," said Flannery. "I couldn't pass up such a fun way to contribute to our year-end fundraiser." Puzzle on, Flannery!

Throughout the years, CCLers have found fun, creative ways to raise money on Pledge It. Whether it's puzzling, skiing, or walking the dog, we love seeing CCLers rise to the challenge. Several chapters have also formed team fundraisers on Pledge It, like the Santa Cruz chapter, whose donations will be matched 2:1 by another local donor, or the Kalamazoo chapter, which is well on their way to their goal of $1k. Thank you for your support!

Check out CCL's Pledge It home page to see all the active pledge-a-thons and chapter fundraising teams.

Recent trainings

Previewing CCL's BRIDGE Advocacy Program - In this training, Brett Cease, CCL’s VP of Field Operations, previewed CCL’s new “BRIDGE” program: Building Relationships in Dialogue, Growth, and Engagement. Brett outlined this new framework that offers practical insights for having more effective, empathetic climate conversations that build understanding and momentum for change. Watch the recording.

This program will serve as one of the foundational building blocks for Citizens’ Climate’s advocacy in the coming year and beyond. Through BRIDGE, we will learn and practice the relational advocacy skills necessary to help Members of Congress see climate action as salient, feasible and safe, as we described in our new Strategic Plan.
