St. Mary’s College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary’s City is accepting
résumés for the position of Director of Instructional Support for Marine
Science and Environmental Studies. This position acts as the department
laboratory manager in support of instructional and research activities for
both departments, and teaches the equivalent of six laboratory sections per
academic year. This position also coordinates the management of small
watercraft that are used for instructional and research purposes. Salary
range is $51,000 - $56,000 depending on qualifications. View position

Qualifications: Master’s degree in environmental science, marine science,
or related scientific field, or Bachelor’s degree with documented
equivalent experience. The candidate must have the ability to work well
with students and faculty in a small, liberal-arts college, and must have
competency in Windows/Mac platforms, inventory purchasing and management,
database management, and spreadsheet data analysis. Any combination of
acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary
knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be
considered. Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a
criminal background check.
