November Letter Writing Zoom Party

Join us for our monthly Citizens’ Climate Letter Writing Zoom Party!

This is an opportunity to turn up on Zoom and spend focused time writing a letter to the editor of your local newspaper about why you're concerned about climate change and the solutions we need to lower emissions. When we mention our members of Congress by name in published letters, their staff see it and flag it - showing our elected officials this is an important issue for constituents.

We will start with a quick training for anyone who needs it, then discuss timely letter-writing opportunities before muting/turning off cameras for 20 minutes to write. Letters to the editor average about 150-250 words. We will then return for anyone to read if they would like to.
