February LTE workshop 17930
February LTE workshop
3
Please join us at 5 pm PT/ 8 pm ET on Wednesday, February 12 for a workshop covering how to write an effective letter to the editor of your local newspaper.

During the session, you will learn the "LTE formula" and how to identify opportunities in your local newspaper. And you'll spend 20 minutes of focused time writing your LTE during the call. Letters to the editor average about 150-250 words.

Why write an LTE?
Members of Congress and their staff pay attention to local media — especially when it mentions them! LTEs published in the local press highlight the effective climate solutions our lawmakers can implement and convey the action constituents wish to see. They can also be written and published quickly.
