The NC Central and Cape Fear Region chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) covers N.C.'s new Congressional District 13, which includes all of Johnston County and parts of Wake, Harnett, and Wayne Counties. We also continue to work with our friends in the 7th Congressional District, where the CCL chapter is mainly organized in and around the Wilmington area in Brunswick and New Hanover counties.
Our volunteers call, email, and meet with our members of Congress and reach out to our community through events that seek to build support for federal climate legislation. With CCL's broader policy orientation, we are planning to become even more involved in activism at our local and county levels as well.
We typically meet via Zoom on the second Saturday of each month at 1:45, after the National meeting at 1:00. We would love to welcome you to our next meeting.
