TX San Antonio Chapter meets the second Saturday of each month at noon to listen to the International call/meeting on ZOOM, then follows with a separate ZOOM meeting at 1 pm.
On June 8-11, 2019, the three co-leaders of our chapter attended their first-ever CCL Lobby Day in Washington, D.C. They, along with a number of other chapter volunteers, followed up with a virtual Lobby Day in June 2020, holding ZOOM meetings with the San Antonio-area members of Congress or their staff.
San Antonio is heavily gerrymandered and our chapter covers 5 congressional districts. These are TX15 (De La Cruz), TX20 (Castro), TX21 (Roy), TX23 (Gonzales), TX28 (Cuellar), and TX35 (Casar). It will be helpful to determine which district is yours.
Our activities include letter writing to our newspapers, businesses, representatives and senators; virtual meetings; and making phone calls. We are an active chapter and always in need of help. We welcome your active participation. CCL is a great organization with expansive training opportunities for any level of involvement you wish.
