Welcome to CCL's Climate Policy Camp Community page, we're excited to have you join us for 2019!
Here’s where you can begin your journey in preparing to study and understand the complicated policy questions that arise in climate advocacy work. To start, feel free to visit the group's Forums to introduce yourself and start to get to know your other summer cohort-members within your assigned section.
Please reference the "More Info" section below for details and logistics to help you in advance of Camp and email email@example.com with any questions you have!
Reading materials for 2019 are now available in the "Files" page as well as the schedule The page is organized by International and Domestic tracks, and a section for everyone to read. You will receive an email a few weeks prior to Camp to tell you which track you are in. In the mean time, feel free to explore any Files and Videos from last year's archived lessons, but know they will most likely change for this year's focus.
Mobile App: Search for Grenadine Event Guide in your app store, when prompted for the event code, enter: CCLCamp2019
What to Expect at Camp
Each faculty has determined the material and presentation for their own session to prepare you for the Negotiation Simulation portion of Camp. We’ve recommended that they dedicate a third of their session to question and answer and they will also schedule their own breaks. In between sessions, you will likely want to meet with your assigned team and begin to organize and prepare for the Friday afternoon activity.
We will have access to American University’s public WiFi. The username will be AU Guest and no password will be needed.
Suggested materials to bring to camp
- Laptop/tablet if you like (it is recommended so you can access reading materials and resources).
- Notebook and writing utensil(s)
- Any printed reading materials printed, to save paper Camp will not be providing copies
