Welcome to the central Illinois chapter of Citizens' Climate Lobby! 😊
We are a diverse group of community members from throughout the central Illinois region, including Champaign-Urbana, Springfield, Peoria, Bloomington, among others, but share the common goal of building nonpartisan support for climate solutions at local to national levels.
We meet on the fourth Wednesday of every month from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. The Zoom invite will be emailed to all members 7 days before.
Getting involved is essential. We all have to come together to work towards a more sustainable and equitable future. Come share the excitement!
Here are three actions you can take right away to get involved:
1. Attend a Wednesday Information Session
2. Send a message to your members of Congress asking their support for carbon pricing
3. Stay connected with us by joining our Slack workspace or adding our Google Calendar.
