Our mission is to provide credible advocacy support in agricultural- and forestry-related areas of CCL's policy agenda.
Objectives: The Ag-F Team provides a collective group of individuals with backgrounds in agriculture or forestry who can then be credible messengers to the members of Congress in committees related to those areas. They can also reach out to agriculture-specific media. And they can help members of the more general Healthy Forests Action Team lobby effectively on bills related to agriculture and forestry.
Membership: The members of the Ag-F AT will be current and retired farmers, ranchers, foresters, and other agriculture- or forestry-related professionals - in government agencies (such as NRCS, USFS), companies (such as Cargill), and universities (such as cooperative extension and research in land-grant universities).
