Description:
Were back!
Welcome to our team!
The mission of the Asian Pacific Action Team is to foster an open environment for anyone interested in Asian-American and Pacific Islander issues. Asian-Americans have been underrepresented in the climate movement, and it is our goal to empower more people to take concrete actions and spread awareness on climate change within our communities. We offer a space to talk about climate change and injustice, climate policy, and political activism from the perspectives of members of the Asian-American and Pacific Islander communities.
Meetings: 2nd Sunday of the month at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. MT
Team Leaders: Cassandra Jean Sinsay and Donna Chen
Questions: asianpacific@citizensclimate.org
Note* we encourage and welcome those with Asian and Pacific Islander backgrounds to join, however, we are not limited to those countries. All are welcome!
Here is a list of Asian and Pacific Island countries- if there are any changes that need to be made please contact one of the team leads!
If you have any questions about membership, email us!
