Welcome to Team Outdoors!
We are building political will as outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds.
Working with "Team Outdoors" you'll build relationships within CCL with other awesome outdoorsy volunteers at our monthly meeting: last Monday of each month at 5 PT.
We support you get out there and do the work: making contacts with folks in the outdoor recreation industry and outdoor conservation groups & building support for CCL's climate solutions.
Within this team there is a project for you, no matter what type of action you like to take!
Specifically you'll be: tapping your personal network to find potential allies, researching companies and individuals who are already taking climate action and could be persuaded to do more, obtaining endorsements, writing LTEs, getting outdoors pros to lobby meetings or to write op-eds - and MORE!
This team is lead by Bill Barron, Laurie Manos, and Laurel Eastman.
Bill is from Utah, he's CCL's Mountain West Regional Director, former ski patroller, and avid cyclist.
Laurie is skier and retired executive living in Maine.
Laurel is a former pro kiteboarder & owner of a kiteboarding school in Dominican Republic.
