Another incredible CCL Lobby Day in the books! Today’s Weekly Briefing is a short one because CCL’s staff has been busy supporting our biggest annual show of force for climate action in D.C.

Yesterday, more than 800 CCL volunteers went to Capitol Hill. After kicking off the morning with our annual group photo on the Capitol steps (pictured above), we held more than 400 meetings with Congressional offices.

We were there asking Congress to:

💰Fund key clean energy programs

🔧Fix the implementation of clean energy tax credits

⚡Advance smart permitting reform so we can build more clean energy

Social media was abuzz with posts and photos from our volunteer climate lobbyists. See posts on our Instagram highlight, Bluesky, or X.

We also saw posts from a few Congressional offices themselves!

The momentum of our lobby day doesn’t have to stop here. You can call your member of Congress and let them know you agree with the messages we brought to their offices this week!

Folks all around the country have made 2,019 calls in the last two days, and we can still keep running up that number to amplify the impact of our visit to the Hill.

I’ll Call Congress
