The following is a message from Donald Addu, Senior Director of Programs here at CCL.

My CCL family, I want to share with you that it has come time for me to take the next step in my life and as such I have put in my resignation, which will become effective on December 31st.Â
When I say you are my family I mean that in every sense of the word. I have broken bread at your kitchen table, drank wine on your porch and slept in your guest room. Through the good and the bad, the wins and the losses, the tears of joy and sadness, through election after election we have grown this family into the most amazing climate organization the world has ever seen.Â
It has been an incredible 12 years and building so many relationships with you all has been one of the greatest joys of my life. All of you have had a profound impact on me and it is your wisdom, passion, thoughtfulness and love that has helped shape me into the man I am today. I lack the words to truly express my gratitude.
So what's next? I am excited to share that I have been accepted into the graduate studies program at North Carolina Central University where I will be pursuing my Masters of Public Administration. From there I will continue to push both the private and public sectors to even more ambitious emissions cuts, and help them get there.
This is not goodbye, it's just a thank you. Rest assured that my commitment to the climate and democracy is as strong as ever, and I know yours is as well. We will keep working toward the same goal, just from different paths, and I know we won't stop until we achieve a livable world.
Respectfully Relentless,
Don Addu
