The following is a message from Amy Bennett, Director of Congressional Liaisons and Lobby Days, here at CCL.

I want to take a moment to let you know of some upcoming changes that I have been thinking about for a bit. Â As you know, I recently went on vacation to my beloved Mount Tamalpais. What a great place to reflect, look ahead, and just love the smell of the redwoods and bay trees. It really helped me focus and see things in a refreshed way.Â
Now is a perfect time to hand over the reins to Kesten, who is more than capable, as you all know! I'll be here till the end of the year. And you will see me as a volunteer. I am thrilled to have Kesten take the lead.
I hope you know it has been pure joy to work with you all toward Marshall's vision.
Volunteers can leave farewells and well wishes on the Kudoboard below:
Thank you for everything Amy! We'll miss you!
@Katie Zakrzewski please relay this to Amy, thanks.
Dear Amy, Wishing you happy holidays and the best in all your future endeavors. It has been a joy and pleasure to work with you. You will be missed!!!Â

Amy, to say you will be missed is an understatement.  When we were discussing lobby-day training options at this month's monthly meeting, I recommended the zoom call on the 15th. Someone asked me to summarize why.  I simply said, “Amy Bennett, Amy Bennett, Amy Bennett.  She'll tell you something important that you didn't know."  You embody what's best about CCL.  Thanks for being who you are.
That's just what I was thinking Mark when I first learned Amy was leaving.  Amy was very likely my  first person at CCL that I returned to over and over again after all these years. It's hard to think of CCL without knowing I could just write Amy. But I am rejoicing in your decision Amy to open your life to the next fabulous phase. Â

I feel the earth shaking beneath my feet! Â Gone is my resource for a response to difficult questions and odd musings. So grateful for all your support through the years, Amy. Take care and we DO hope to see you in our midst. Â Jean
