Like the COVID-19 times, scientists don't know how to communicate climate change to the public (well!)
Listen to Chris Cuomo a lot. He makes good points and this one was about the COVID/FAUCI issue. Don't get why he never talks about the climate, but the points here about SCIENCE TALK VS POLITIC TALK should resonate.
Most scientists understand "nature" but not "human nature." That's true with this covid thing AND (here's my point) it's also true with environmental issues like Climate Change.
Example: cleaner air sums up the Trump response to the climate problem. However the air in our country has been getting cleaner since the 1970s. Enough? Maybe not but regardless, that is not the climate issue!
More intense heat waves, wildfires, droughts, hurricanes are different from asthma and smoggy skies. Climate change is not visible and not specific to any city. Of course the "global cooling" threat seen in the 1970s has changed but "CHANGE" is not weakness to the scientist. It's how it works!
But like Fauci, climatologists use rates and percentages to make their points. That's not "politic talk." They don’t know “hot to do it” either!
