Publicizing CCL by dropping off flyers at homes
If you or a member of your chapter would like to publicize CCL, one way is to distribute a flyer about CCL door-to-door, using one from “Resources and Training” on this website or making one of your own. They shouldn't be put in mailboxes, per Post Office rules, but usually you can find somewhere else to put it by the front door, such as rolled up and tucked in the door handle or under the edge of a doormat or the box of a recent Amazon delivery 😊. You can order an inexpensive supply of clear plastic door hanger pouches for the few cases where there is nowhere to put the flyer except to hang it on the door handle.
Most people are concerned about climate change, and many of them want to do something about it. Giving them information about CCL in this way may motivate some of them to finally take action, whether it be to join your chapter, email Congress, or donate to CCL. This is something you and others can do to get a little exercise and take action to get the word out whenever you have some time.

Love it Gary! Thanks for reminding us it's not legal to put flyers in mailboxes. Also would be good to respect any “No Soliciting” or “No Trespassing” signs as well. I know my neighborhood has a few of those signs out. Also might want to check on any local ordinances about going door to door. Thanks for getting the word out!
