Let's talk fracking issues (especially in light of Trump's recent ascension back to the presidency)
Thanks for bringing this up. This is a big concern for me as I live in western NY where fracking is banned; however our area is heavily reliant on fracked gas purchased from PA.
Our gas utility in the area, National Fuel Gas, has an active fracking branch company called Seneca Resources with 1,000 wells in the Marcellus and Utica shale in Pennsylvania.
Having lived in PA I have been made more aware of the environmental and climate hazards of fracking, however I feel that most people in WNY who are reliant on fracked gas for heating our homes are unaware of where and how we are getting it.
