Does anyone know of a specific IRA funds nonprofits may apply for to utilize when electrifying or improving energy efficiency of their buildings? The Energy Efficiency Pilot Program isn't applicable in my situation. For a number of reasons, we can't install solar or wind. I've also reviewed resources available through Interfaith Power and Light.
Thanks @Ronald Malcom!

Hi @Ronald Malcom. Â In your case it sounds like the applicable incentive would be the 179D Commercial Buildings Energy-Efficiency Tax Deduction. Â The IRA now allows charitable organizations, religious institutions, private schools or colleges, tribal governments, and any other organization falling under IRC 501(c) to pass along the tax deduction to design partners like contractors, engineers, architects, etc. Â You can read more about it here too. Â I hope that helps!
