Does CCL have an assessment of the SPEED Act and a comparison to the Problem Solver's framework?
I was dialoguing with the environmental staffer for Rep. Emelia Sykes (OH-11) and she brought up the Standardizing Permitting and Expediting Economic Development (SPEED) Act (H. R. 4776) described in the bill as: To amend the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 to clarify ambiguous provisions and facilitate a more efficient, effective, and timely environmental review process. So, this bill appears to be a competitor to the Problem Solvers Caucus framework for permitting reform. It has bipartisan sponsorship: Representative Bruce Westerman (R-AR) and Jared Golden (D-ME).

The House Natural Resources Committee advanced the comprehensive permitting reform package yesterday.
Is CCL aware of this legislation? Has there been any comparison made to the PSC framework? I have a lobby session in early December with a Republican representative and wonder if this may come up.
@Brett Cease Thanks very much for the quick response. Mindy's post is very informative and answers my question. Since it was advanced out of committee on 11/20, I expect that we may be questioned on this bill in our lobby meetings
