This dynamic two-day gathering will take place on April 6th to 7th at Furman University's stunning Upstate South Carolina campus.

Our keynote session will feature CBS News National Correspondent Jonathan Vigliotti, author of BEFORE IT’S GONE: Stories from the Front Lines of Climate Change in Small Town America.

Jonathan is a powerful storyteller and Emmy and Edward R. Murrow Award–winning journalist whose work has appeared on numerous platforms, including CBS Sunday Morning, Face the Nation, 48 Hours, and more. His reporting has taken him to more than forty countries and territories across six continents.

We're also delighted to welcome former South Carolina Congressman Bob Inglis, Executive Director of RepublicEn, a national organization that confidently helps conservatives navigate climate conversations. Bob was given the 2015 John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award and served in Congress from 1993 to 1998 and from 2005 to 2010.

Other highlights

We'll kick off the conference with a guided tour of Furman's Shi Institute, where sustainability isn't just discussed—it's practiced.

Conference-goers will hear from leading experts pioneering the path to climate resilience and will be able to engage in thought-provoking sessions, music, and art to spark change. From eye-opening workshops to inspiring panels, every moment is designed to empower you with the tools and insights to make a tangible impact in your community.

This is your opportunity to join forces with like-minded folks to share knowledge and forge actionable strategies for a livable future. Attendees will also be offered the chance to attend a Climate Advocacy Hour, where they'll get a crash course in effective climate advocacy and take quick action during the session.

Where to stay

The beautiful and bustling city of Greenville regularly features in national "best places to stay" lists and has an eclectic mix of accommodation options. Come for the conference and stay for the camaraderie and cuisine!
