Welcome to the San Mateo County Chapter of Citizens' Climate Lobby! We are a nonpartisan group of local volunteers dedicated to building political will for climate action. Our members work together to educate our community and advocate for effective climate legislation at the State and Federal levels. We believe that by building friendly, professional relationships with our elected leaders, we can create the bipartisan support needed for a livable world.
Ongoing Activities:

Monthly Meetings: Hybrid chapter meetings are hosted the third Saturday of each month from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Attend in person in San Mateo or via Zoom.

Youth Sub-Chapter: High school members meet online each Saturday morning to collaborate on lobby meetings, letters to the editor, and an annual climate rally.

Tabling & Lobbying: We educate the public on legislative priorities and meet with legislators to build support for climate change legislation.

Weekly Climate Actions: Sign up for weekly email reminders to contact your legislators.
