2. And if you’re new to CCL or you have never taken the Climate Advocate Lobby Training workshop, we strongly encourage you to sign up and attend the live session on June 2nd at 2 pm ET. If that doesn’t fit your schedule, you can listen to a recording. This workshop is required to lobby with CCL. If you are attending the Summer Conference, the Climate Advocate Lobby Training will also be provided in person during the Sunday morning sessions. Lastly, if you are under 18 and interested in learning to lobby, register here to join the online Youth Lobby Training, by youth for youth, on Sunday, May 19, 2024.
Additional Optional Trainings

3. Outside of the recommended trainings above, CCL provides additional trainings for volunteers to help prepare for your virtual lobby meeting experiences, both live or on your own time. All live sessions below are optional and held at 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT on Tuesday or Thursday evenings. To find out more information for any session, click on the corresponding link below to be taken to its event sign-up page (or see the recording if you miss it live). From there you can RSVP to be sent a reminder email the day ahead of time or click through to the self-paced training for each topic.

If you've never been to a conference in person before and have questions about what to expect, be sure to attend the live Tues., May 28th training on June Conference Lobby Days Q&A.

For the Working With Congress series training pages above, CCL now offers an interactive design to help provide a more engaging learning experience.

We look forward to having you join us for an exciting line-up of trainings to help us all prepare for the upcoming Summer conference and lobby days. Questions? Email CCL's Vice President of Programs Brett Cease brett@citizensclimate.org.
