Instead of THAT 🤐
- Don't use words and phrases like "ban" or "get rid of" when referencing fossil-fueled appliances.
- Don't start with unachievable goals, like a full home remodel.
- Don't immediately open with climate change or the environment. People want to know how to save money and be safe at home. Turn the conversation to climate change if/when it makes sense.
