“Understanding Our Congress Basics” will take place Tuesday, May 28th at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT and feature Taylor Krause, CCL's National Outreach & Partnership Coordinator.  The training will focus on the details of Congress, the policymaking process, and what life is like for members of Congress and their staffers. 

The final part of the call will include time to partner in small group discussions about building your own relationship with your member of Congress.

Core Volunteer Training is a series specifically created to support you in becoming more active with CCL and answering any questions you might have across a wide range of topics.

CCL offers two ongoing training series online via Zoom conference (instructions for how to log-on): Citizens' Climate University for existing volunteers on Thursday evenings and Core Volunteer Training for new volunteers on Tuesday evenings.
