From Simulation to Story: Leveraging En-ROADS Updates for Impactful Community Climate Presentations
17
Join Katherine Markova of Climate Interactive (CCL's April Monthly Meeting speaker) for an engaging training on the latest updates to the En-ROADS climate simulator and how to bring its insights to life in your community. As a leader supporting a global network of En-ROADS Climate Ambassadors, Katherine will walk through what’s new in the model and how it reflects the latest climate science and policy pathways. En-ROADS allows users to test solutions—from clean energy to carbon pricing—and see real-time impacts on global temperature, air quality, and economic outcomes, making it a powerful tool for education and engagement.

This session will also focus on best practices for delivering compelling, nonpartisan climate presentations—helping CCL volunteers translate complex data into clear, relatable stories that resonate with diverse audiences. Participants will leave with practical facilitation tips, presentation strategies, and renewed confidence to lead impactful conversations that build political will in their communities.
