CCL's Climate Advocate Lobby Training Workshop

Building on CCL’s Informational Session, the Climate Advocate Training Workshop will focus on climate communication skills and lobbying. We’ll help you find your role to hit the ground running.

In this interactive workshop, you will:

• Learn the basics of becoming an effective climate advocate by reviewing CCL’s structure, mission, purpose, and methodology for creating a political will.
• Practice appealing to the best in others and building common ground.
• Learn how to develop constructive relationships with elected representatives and practice our lobbying methods.
• Practice storytelling and a mock lobby meeting to put your new skills to use!

Note: This training is on a different Zoom line than what we usually provide for our Thursday CCL Trainings. Registration is required here.
