This session, led by RFF's Carbon Pricing Initiative Director Marc Hafstead covers the basics of carbon pricing to give a good grounding for those new to carbon pricing. The content will cover the textbook case for carbon pricing, insights from decades of data on the effects such policies have on emissions, and some of the key design elements policymakers need to consider when crafting a new policy.
