Op-Ed Template Happy Hour!

Come to our Op-Ed Template Happy Hour to get to work on two new adaptable opinion column templates to submit to local newspapers!

August 16, 2023, is the one-year anniversary of President Biden signing the landmark climate bill, the Inflation Reduction Act. To celebrate this milestone and all the clean energy projects and jobs that have been pouring into our states, you can coauthor an op-ed titled, "Climate action brought investment and jobs. Our lawmakers should strive for more."

Our second offering is an op-ed titled, "Congress we have a problem — and it's time for you to solve it" and outlines all the climate extremes we've seen of late and how our members of Congress must act now. 

During our session, we will help participants to download the op-ed templates so they can work on them during the session, with the goal of submitting them to local newspapers before the evening is out. 

We invite chapter media managers to join us or any volunteer interested in the media lever!
