February Letter Writing Zoom Party

Join us for our February Letter Writing Zoom Party!

This is an opportunity for anyone to turn up on Zoom, write a letter-to-the-editor and submit it to a newspaper before the hour is out! The event is led by Charlotte Ward, CCL's State and Local Media Coordinator.

We will start with a quick six-minute training for anyone who needs it, then discuss timely letter-writing opportunities before muting/turning off cameras for 20 minutes to write.

We will then return for anyone to read if they would like to.

What do you bring to the party? 

Anything climate-related you have spotted in a local newspaper. You can also find timely writing suggestions with talking points in CCL’s LTE Topics document.

A notepad and pen if you’d like to write by hand.

A beverage of your choice (hey, it is a party after all!).
