Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all meetings will be held virtually, with CCL volunteers connecting remotely with their member of Congress or staff in their DC office or district office if necessary.
When
Primary Liaisons (or someone they designate) will begin to schedule meetings with their Senate and House offices throughout the week of March 22 - 26.
How to Participate
There is no need to sign up or register for the lobby days (but you are encouraged to register for the Virtual Climate Advocate Training Workshop if you are a new volunteer or have not taken the training before. You can find more information and register here.). The process for forming the lobby teams varies from district to district. Contact your local chapter leader, congressional liaison or regional coordinator to find out the local process and availability of slots on the team, as well as to let them know of your interest in participating.  All meeting team assignments, meeting plans and practice meetings for this March will be handled locally, similar to in-district meetings (schedules will not be sent out by CCL Headquarters).
For more information about the appointment process and how to get trained up ahead of time visit the Working With Congress training series.
