D&I Workshop: Environmental inequity as a public health issue
3
After a month's break we return with the next round of our education and roundtable workshops. This month's topic, "Environmental Inequity as a Public Health Issue."  The presentation will look at mapping public health hazards, the proximities of shocks to BIPOC and working class communities and how extreme weather caused by climate change is a public health issue.

The workshop is part of the D&I Education and Roundtable Discussion Series and is held by the inaugural team of Diversity Fellows. The purpose of this series is to facilitate brave spaces for discussion and create places where people can learn from one another. The workshop format was changed from two sessions of one-hour each held on two consecutive Sundays to one session held once a month on a Friday night.
