Handling Difficult Lobbying Scenarios Training

How might you best respond to someone in a meeting yelling their concerns back at you? Or a group member taking over on a tangent?

Join Greater Pacific Northwest Regional Coordinator Tamara Staton and Southeast Regional Director Don Addu for this training to learn how to overcome objections and handle difficult situations with a proven process that keeps your meetings and conversations on topic and leads to more effective and meaningful relationships.

There will be time for Q&A, and attendees are encouraged to post any questions ahead of time below in the Events Comments section to make sure they will be addressed.

The webinar will take place on Thursday, May 23rd, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.

RSVP as "Attending" to trainings you want to receive updates for or subscribe to CCL's once-a-week training reminders via email or text.

CCL offers two ongoing training series online via Zoom conference (instructions for how to log-on): Citizens' Climate University for existing volunteers on Thursday evenings and Core Volunteer Training for new volunteers on Tuesday evenings (here's the upcoming CCL training schedule).

To learn more about this topic, visit the Handling Difficult Lobbying Scenarios training page, where the updated recording will be archived after the training.
